2008 is off to an amazing start for Performing Songwriter Linda M with these songwriting accolades! Other songwriting awards include multiple Top Honors from The BILLBOARD WORLD SONG CONTEST, The GREAT AMERICAN SONG CONTEST and The UK Singer Songwriter Awards.

Linda M returned to Nashville, TN in April 2008 and won The 2008 Tunesmith Songwriting Competition! The First Place Song, "Livin Large in a Small Town" will be recorded and released in June.

Music licenses include Warner Bros. Television (the hit teen drama DAWSON'S CREEK), Clearnet Corp, Sony USA and the feature film "Shades of Blue".

Linda M shines live, with performances alongside Paul Brandt at Toronto's Premier Folk venue Hugh's Room and Don Henley, Natalie Merchant, Ani DiFranco, Lyle Lovett, Santana and Macy Gray all at The Molson Amphitheatre Side Stage in Toronto. She is a nominee with both The Toronto and Ontario Independent Music Awards for Best Female Performer and Best Live Act - Acoustic.

Her Festival line up includes CMW, NXNE, MEIC, City Roots, Winterfolk and more.

Internationally, Linda M has dedicated fans overseas from a 4 season German Club and Concert Series and is building a U.S. following. Linda M has appeared at The Legendary BITTER END and CBGB's in New York City, The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, and makes regular runs through MICHIGAN State.

Currently, Linda M is signed with Los Angeles Music Publisher JAY WARNER.

Linda M is a three time recipient of recording grants from FACTOR. The follow up album to "Pretty on the Inside" will be released in 2008 featuring some of Canada's most sought after musicians.
